Dissertation Consultation
I offer research consultation to doctoral students in psychology. Having gone through the arduous process myself and having served on dissertation committees, I have experience helping students complete the process successfully. Selecting a manageable topic is the most essential step. From research conception, study design, literature review, to analysis, results, and discussion, I can help point the way towards your goal. My two cents: keep things clear and simple, instead of overly complex and muddled. Extensive wandering through the academic forest is not encouraged. As his advisor said to the great psychologist Carl Rogers: “Don’t be an ammo wagon, be a rifle.”
The initial consultation is pro bono publico. If additional sessions are needed, we can doubtless find a reduced rate for my time that fits with the penurious circumstances typical of most graduate students.
